They can pursue the AME programme without giving it much thought. When candidates decide to pursue a career as an AME, they must first understand what is a AME qualification? Academic qualifications are fundamental criteria that must be satisfied. The candidate needs to meet the following requirements, which are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Passing or appearing in the 12th with science stream (physics, chemistry, and mathematics).<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Pass a three-year engineering diploma at the time of admission in AME.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Qualify for the AME CEE, a national-level common entrance examination for admission to one of the top AME institutes with a scholarship of up to 100%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-a-ame\"><strong>What is a AME?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The person with an international license for the certification of the maintenance, fix-up, analysis, and solution of the fault that arises in the aircraft is known as the AME. The license for the AME will be provided through the Indian regulatory body, i.e., the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Based on the license, the license holder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amecee.in\"><strong>AME<\/strong><\/a> can carry out the following duties:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>B1.1: Certify mechanical parts of an airplane with a turbine engine or engines.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>B1.2: Certify mechanical components of an aeroplane powered by a piston engine or engines.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>B1.3: Certify mechanical parts of the helicopter with the turbine engine or engines.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>B1.4: Certify mechanical parts of a helicopter with a piston engine or engines.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>B2: Certify the fit to fly instrumental, electrical, and radar systems of the airplane and helicopter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-the-salary-of-ame\"><strong>What is the salary of AME?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>After completing the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amecee.in\/aircraft-maintenance-engineering-ame-course-details\">AME course<\/a><\/strong> and obtaining a license, the candidate is qualified to work in the aviation industry. The average starting salary per month for an AME in India will be Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000. As per their skill set, the candidate can earn even more than this. If the candidates apply for the aviation organisation in other countries, the salary package may double or triple the amount they get in India.
